Music, Freddie & Me

I know everybody has their own opinions on music ~ this is mine:
I do enjoy most kinds of music - the LOUDER the better!
The 60's, 70's and 80's being the best - after that, people seem to have run out of ideas, and these days either re-mix something that's thirty years old, or just make some ear-shattering, head-splitting thump thump noise which you can't understand, sing-along with or dance to (so what's the point?)
That last bit, for some reason, reminds me of Mum and Dad....can't think why!

After the obvious, FREDDIE & QUEEN, I would find it extremely difficult to choose a next best favourite band or singer, or, come to think of it, even a preference as to style. I think I'm inclined to lean towards ROCK or the heavier type of thing, but then again, it all comes down to "mood" - i.e. What sort of mood I'm in at the time. If I'm feeling sad, I listen to the quieter, slower, sad songs I like, and if I'm feeling happy, I put on the louder, faster kind of thing.
I always think that however you're feeling, there's a song out there somewhere to match your mood and words to express exactly how you feel.
That's especially true if you're feeling down and unhappy. Sometimes it almost feels like a particular song has been written just for you. It's strange how much easier it is to express yourself through the words of a song, rather than actually speak those words out loud.
That's my opinion anyway!

I thought I'd mention a few other's I like, but this is by NO means all, and I know before I start, that I will have missed out many ~ there are, after all, so many to choose from.
